What we collect
The estimate and callback forms are the only places this site asks you for information. Nothing is submitted until you press Send Estimate Request or Call Me Back.
Information you give us
- Your name.
- Your phone number and/or email address, plus how you prefer to be contacted and the best time to reach you.
- The city, property type and timeframe you tell us about.
- The service or task you are requesting, your description of it, and optional dimensions or quantity.
- Up to three photos you choose to attach — optional, and only uploaded when you send the request.
- For a callback request: your name, phone number, preferred time, and an optional short note about what you need.
Information collected automatically
- The page you landed on, and the website that referred you, if any.
- Campaign tags in the link you clicked (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), when present.
- A broad device category (mobile, tablet or desktop) based on your screen size.
We do not build a profile of you, and we do not track you across other websites. To keep spam out of the form, submissions are rate-limited per visitor; the request record itself does not store your IP address.
How we use it
- To review your request and prepare an estimate.
- To contact you about your request, schedule work, and keep you informed.
- To keep an ordinary business record of enquiries, estimates and completed work.
- To keep the website running and protected from spam and abuse.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it.
Where your information is stored
Submitted requests are saved in this website’s private cloud database. Photos stay in private storage: they are not published anywhere on the site and cannot be viewed by the public. The site is not a public list — other visitors cannot browse, search or see requests submitted by anyone else.
Who helps us operate the site
A small number of service providers handle part of the process. Each one only sees what it needs to do its job, and each is used to operate the website, email or measurement — not for advertising.
Website hosting, database and private storage
Runs the site and holds submitted requests and estimate photos.
Resend (email delivery)
Sends the internal “new estimate request” notification to the business, so the request can be reviewed and answered.
Google Analytics 4
Optional measurement that loads only after you choose “Allow analytics”.
Analytics and cookies
- Google Analytics is off by default. Nothing loads from Google until you press “Allow analytics” in the banner, and choosing “Necessary only” sends nothing to Google.
- The estimate form, your call, text and email links, and every other part of the site work the same either way.
- Only a short list of safe, non-identifying details can be sent: which step of the form you are on, which service category you chose, which section of the page a link sat in, which question number you opened, and which gallery card you viewed.
- Your name, phone number, email address, project description, photos and reference number are never sent to analytics.
- No advertising, remarketing or ad-personalisation cookies are used. Those Google settings are kept switched off.
- Your choice is remembered in your own browser, and you can change it at any time using the button below.
How long we keep it
There is no fixed retention period that fits every request. Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed to review and respond to your request, carry out agreed work, and meet ordinary legal, tax and accounting requirements — then it is deleted or anonymised.
Your choices and questions
To ask what we hold about you, correct something, or request deletion, email gentlemanhomeservices@gmail.com. We may need to confirm the request first, and we may need to keep records required for business or legal purposes — for example an invoice for work that was done.
This clears the choice saved in this browser and shows the analytics banner again.
Changes to this page
